A great tribute to the men who fought here so long ago. I remember looking for the marker where General Kearny fell back in the 1960s. I practically tripped over it in the forest and growth which was there at the time. Superb site. Thanks for your efforts. God bless America.

It's sad to see the destruction of this important battlefield. Too many Civil War sites are being lost to thoughtless urban sprawl. Once these battlefields are subdivided and strip malled they are gone forever and even a well designed web page can't replace the impact of their actual physical presence. Now, more than ever, we have to preserve these sites and honor the men who fought in this war. Far too many Americans have little or no historical memory; I salute your efforts to preserve the Ox Hill battlefield and part of our past.

HALLOWED GROUND. I AM SURPRISED YOU DID NOT FIND THE REMAINS OF THOSE BRAVE SOULS ROLLING OVER IN THEIR GRAVES. WHAT AN INSULT TO OUR BRAVE ANCESTORS THAT THEY SHOULD BE BURIED UNDER A MCDONALD'S PARKING LOT.
THANK YOU FOR A WELL TOLD STORY OF OUR BRAVE AND HEROIC SOLDIERS.
