A great site; the best I've seen done on a Civil War battle. As a "native" of Fairfax, now displaced 15 years, the aerial photos of grounds I grew up on are sad to see. As Millans, Haights(Sully), and Hamill(St.Mary's, FFX station)are all part of my ancestery, this site has helped answer many questions regarding Ox Hill, and the men who fought. Unfortunately too many adults and very few children understand why this history is important. Keep up the good work!

I certainly will be teaching my son and
daughter about the Civil War and how much its outcome impacted values in America. I
appreciate the value of this site.

As aU.S.army vet I salute those men of both the blue and gray. They were all americans. And no one wins in war. My Grandfathers fought in that war one in blue;one in gray but like them they were all americans. ON THAT GREAT DAY may they all stand up and we can say in person WE SALUTE YOU!

I discovered this web site quite accidentally. In light of recent events, the lives of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for the principals and ideals that we all hold dear, should never be taked for granted. Whether the sacrifice was made over a century ago or just yesterday, we owe our existance to those lives.
