as a reenactor and resident of nearby oakton, it always saddens me to drive by the memorials at ox hill. I can't stand the fact that the very place where dozens of soldiers in stevens division gallantly died is a chutzpah bakery and a parcel plus. It's always sad to see a piece of our history destroyed to make a sleazy strip mall.

Great site!. I come from the little own in NY State were the 80th NY Vol came frome. Better known as 20th NY Malitia. My grand father served with them in the Spainish American War and WWI & my father WWII. I wish all Civil War sites were done as well as this.My office sits in the middle of the battle field and I often ponder what had happened were I sit. I bet my boss wishes I would work more than I day dream. GREAT JOB!!!
