I am awed by the comment of passing "by Goggans' body"...I know that family was in the war, my great-grd father returned home. I now have a goal to identify this Goggans mentioned...I will be glad to talk with anyone interested in family in Georgia.

This is one of the best sites I have seen on the entire Internet. You are to be congratulated. It is great.

I am conducting research on the 38th NC Infantry which fought as part of Pender's Brigade there. It was thrilling to see this complete narrative of the battle.
