I have passed by the Ox Hill sign a number of times, and tonight I finally decided to research it. This site was wonderful--and makes me a bit sad that the battlefield looks as it does today. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the website; the information pro- vided is terrific for the Civil War scholar, but also underscores the urgent need to advance the cause of battlefield preservation before it is too late.

my last salute goes to all the fallen heroes who will no longer have soil and blue sky above them,but housing estates and shopping centres"is nothing sacred" probably is as long as there is a dollar bill in front of it... from the land down under.
